What is included in the rent?
Our student rooms are all-inclusive. Weekly prices include all utility bills, free broadband, fast wifi, communal spaces, study spaces, lifestyle facilities, regular social events, on-site cycle storage and CCTV.

How does the laundry work?

Can I pay monthly?
You cannot pay monthly, but you can pay in instalments with a valid UK guarantor. For English sites, we offer 4 instalments for 44 week and 5 instalments for 51 week contracts. For Scottish sites, it's 9 instalments for 44 weeks and 10 instalments for 5...

Do you accept international students?
Abodus welcomes students from across the world. Our communities are open to all and are hubs of diversity.
Are there staff available onsite?
Each Abodus site has a friendly team, with someone available to our residents 24/7. For some of our sites, an emergency contact number will be provided when staff are not onsite.
Can non-students/professionals stay at any sites?
No, we only allow students that are in full-time education to stay with us.
When can I move out?
You can move out whenever you want. However, remember your contract is a fixed term tenancy agreement so even If you move out before your tenancy ends you will still need to pay the full amount of rent.
Are Abodus sites safe?
Many of our Abodus sites have onsite security staff and digital entry systems in each building. For some of our sites an emergency contact number will be provided when staff are not onsite, ensuring that our buildings are safe and secure.
Can I extend my contract if I need to?
If you need to extend your contract for whatever reason, please contact your accommodation team directly for prices and information. Extensions are subject to availability.
Can I cancel my room after I've moved in?
After you have checked in and collected your keys you lose the right to cancel your tenancy. You are liable for the full rent unless a suitable replacement is found to take over your tenancy agreement. Only when a suitable replacement has been found and...
Do I need a TV licence?

No, we do not allow students to bring pets or animals of any kind.
Can my family/dependants share my room with me?
Your family and friends are able to visit you, but you are the only permanent resident allowed.

Is there any security at the sites?
Your security and welfare are our number one priority; our on-site management teams and wellbeing force provide you with any assistance you may need during your stay. There is CCTV throughout our sites, key card access and on-site bike storage.

What Are Your Recycling and Sustainability Practices?
