If your subscription has renewed, you may have purchased your subscription via a recurring payment method. Just head to the 'Orders' tab and select your magazine to check your subscription status and this will tell you if your subscription is set to Auto-Renew or not.

A Recurring payment is where the payment recurs automatically at the specified period and is usually the cheapest option. We sometimes offer shorter payment terms such as every 3 months (quarterly) or every 6 months, splitting the cost across the year as well as paying annually. If you chose to pay by recurring payments, the payment frequency will be specified in your order confirmation email.

When you take out a subscription via recurring payment, the subscription will continue for a minimum period of 12 months’ even if the frequency of payment is for a shorter period (for example quarterly).
