What is a MIAM?
A MIAM is a Mediation Information and Assessment Meeting. It is a compulsory initial meeting before applying to court for certain family law matters, and it is used to explain mediation and assess whether it is suitable.
Do you offer prenuptial, postnuptial or separation agreements?
Yes. We offer prenuptial agreements, postnuptial agreements and separation agreements as part of our finance services.
Can a Child Arrangements Order be changed or enforced?
Yes. A Child Arrangements Order can be varied if circumstances change significantly, and that breaching one is a serious matter because the court can enforce compliance and may impose penalties or sanctions.
What if my matter is straightforward - do I always need to instruct a solicitor?
Not always. If a matter is very straightforward, you may not need to instruct a solicitor and we can suggest how to progress it yourself; if it needs further progression, we can arrange a fixed-fee Strategy Meeting.

Yes. There is now an option for spouses to make a joint application for divorce, and we also offer joint representation as part of our separation services.
What is a non-molestation order?
A Non-Molestation Order is a court injunction designed to protect someone from harassment, violence or threats of violence. It provides immediate relief and helps prevent further harm.
