Yes, every MCS registered installation must be notified to your DNO. There are two options:

Option 1

The specified invertor is 3.68KW or less then we notify the DNO on a G98 application which is automatically accepted with zero potential cost. The G98 no cost option is available for larger inverters where the export KW is limited to 3.68.

Option 2

For inverters greater than 3.68KW you can choose to make a G99 enquiry/application that, if proceeded with, will allow you to export AC power up to the labelled kw value of the invertor. i.e 5kw, 6kw or 7.5kw.
