Thanks. Once you've got to the messages page, you'll see a list of members you've communicated with. If there isn't anyone in the list, you've not yet sent or received any messages or followed anyone yet! If there is, tap on the member's name and you'll be taken to the messages you've sent between you.

To send a message to that member, simply type into the gray message field below the list of messages. You can add formatting to your message, like bold, underlined and bullet points, as well as add media such as images, documents, emojis, animated gifs or videos. The buttons to do these are found under the message area.

Once your message is ready, just tap the blue send button, which is bottom-right of the message area.

Note that when you start following another member, a message is sent to them letting them know. So anyone you're following will appear in the messages area too, allowing you to start a private conversation.
