The Close Contact Chaps can be machine washed. We recommend a cool wash using a non-biological washing powder. It is advisable to close all the velcro fastenings before washing. Do not tumble dry. The straps should be kept free of any mud, shavings or hair.
I see from your FAQ that close contact equi-chaps can be washed by hand – my question is, can they be machine washed, and if so, at what temperature?
