An MVHR system – sometimes called a domestic heat exchanger or heat recovery ventilation system (HRV) – is a whole-house ventilation system. It extracts polluted air from a property and provides a constant source of fresh air.

Crucially, it uses the heat from the extracted air to warm the air intake from outside, resulting in minimum waste. It can recover up to a staggering 90% of a property’s heat, making it one of the most energy-efficient renewable energy systems on the market today.
