Solar PV panels convert sunlight into electricity through PV (photovoltaic) cells. They absorb energy from sunlight and generate DC (direct current) electricity, which is then converted into AC (alternating current) electricity. This flows into the building and can be used to power any electronic equipment, just as regular mains power does.
