Horizontal GSHP loops are generally buried of a depth of around 1.2m (depending on the ground type and condition) and can cover an area of anything up to 100m x 100m depending on the size of the property. Borehole systems can vary between 80m to 200m in depth and multiple can be used to heat larger properties.
