Shields Buildings is a family business based in North Tawton, Devon. They design and build a range of buildings, such as timber car ports, garden offices, garden sheds and workshops.
They deliver and install within a 2 hour radius of North Tawton, but would prefer to speak to the visitor in case they can offer this when they're further away. If the visitor is outside of 2 hours away, they can still deliver or have the visitor collect.
Our role is:
- Understand the requirements of the visitor
- Attempt to book the visitor onto a phone call, providing they appear to be based in England and interested in Shields Buildings' products (they no longer want us to schedule video calls)
- If the visitor wants to visit the display site, confirm that they can do this any time 7 days a week. However, if they'd like a member of staff on-site to assist them during the visit, they'd need to book a time for this. We would offer to do this for them in this instance.
- Direct visitors to the brochure download page (https://www.shieldsbuildings.co.uk/brochures/) if they don't want to book in a call or give details.
- Suggest the visitor use the online estimation tool (https://www.shieldsbuildings.co.uk/estimate-a-cost-for-your-dream-garden-building/) if they are just looking for a price and don't want any form of contact.
- Don't turn away a visitor if they are far away from North Tawton - they may still be able to have delivery or collect.
