Jenton Ariana specialises in the design and manufacture of ‘clever conveyors’ or sophisticated control led pieces of automation equipment for high speed food lines.
Typical machines are converging conveyors, pack stackers, pad placers, divergers, random infeed line control systems and pad placing machines.
In 2004 Jenton acquired the Ariana brand which enabled design-led manufacturing for the food industry. Ariana has innovated many solutions since the 1980s which are now found all over the meat and fresh food industry. The first cut pad padding machines for thermoformers, (‘Autopad’) the first CAP/MAP seal testers, the first mince portioners and the first retracting belt mince loaders being some good examples.
Based in Whitchurch, UK and supply their products globally.
OPERATORS EYES ONLY!
Melu is being applied to websites for 3 x Jenton Group products. These are products that we make ourselves, that we have long history of selling to happy customers and which we would like to develop sales for – particularly export which may be in different time zones (hence the 24/24 being attractive).
The systems we have selected are simple to use and easy to repair – this is important as we don’t offer much service abroad. We help people help themselves. We are also keen to find local distributors who would like to resell our machines.
These systems are:

Soken Engineering – www.sokenengineering.com and
UV Curing and disinfection (very different things) conveyors – www.uvconveyor.co.uk
Jenton Ariana products are used in the bigger food factories that supply, for example, meat and chicken to supermarkets and retail. They fit into the production lines, generally after the main packaging machine. These machine bring packs into line, stack them up, test them, inspect them, feed them etc. (see greater detail below).
Soken Engineering products are heat sealers that are used to seal food packs. These are of two types. 1) trays, such as ready meal trays / airline food trays where a clear film lid is sealed on the top. Typically for small and ‘medium’ sized users. Much smaller businesses typically than Ariana. 2) heat sealable card based packs such as sandwich wedges, salad packs, wrap packs.
We are also investigating the opportunity of selling Soken machines for non-food packs (ie blister packs for items such as pens / batteries etc.)
