How does the door lock deadbolt work?

The deadlock in the room will need to be twisted clockwise to lock and anticlockwise to unlock.

How to my appliances work (microwave, hob, fridge, heater)?

We have manuals available at reception, and we are happy to assist a student should they need it.

How do I keep my room clean? Do you offer a cleaning service?

We do not offer a cleaning service, Residents are responsible for cleaning their own rooms.

What do I do with my rubbish/recycling?

All Studios come with two bins to dispose or your rubbish and all shared kitchens has bins both for general waste and recycling the residents are responsible for emptying these into the bin stores.

Am I allowed guests to stay?

Guests need to be signed in at reception and 1 overnight guest can stay for 3 consecutive nights.

Am I allowed a pet?

Pets are not allowed, sorry. 

Am I allowed to smoke in my room?

No, smoking is not permitted in your room. The Smoking Area is located Between A&B Block.

What time should I avoid making noise?

You should stop making excessive noise after 11pm.

Do I have to pay Council Tax?

Full time students are exempt from paying council tax.

Do I need a TV Licence?

Yes you will need a tv license should you wish to watch tv within the property.

Who can help with Wifi/Network issues?

You would need to contact the Wi-Fi provider directly. The provider is ASK4.
