Where are the Study Areas?


The study areas are in the common room. 


Where is the Smoking Area?


The smoking area is located next to A Block/Common room opposite reception .


What should I do if the fire alarm is sounding?


If fire alarm is sounding you must evacuate the building making your way to the fire assemble point located the the cark park by the train station.


Is there staff 24/7?


We have office staff onsite from 8 am-6 pm Monday-Friday and 8 am-8 pm Saturday and Sunday. Overnight is a mixture of night CSA and Resident Assistants.


Do you offer printing services?


No sorry. 


If I receive online shopping packages, will the front desk help with the collection?


The parcel will be scanned into our parcel safe system, you can then collect these within the parcel collection times. Food deliveries must be collected from the student, and we will not accept these at reception.

What should I do if I have a complaint?


Should you have a complaint please email Cathedralpoint@collegiate-ac.com  should you not be happy with the outcome the complaints policy is available in the resident handbook on the website.


Can I have parcels delivered before I arrive?


Due to limited storage space we cannot allow students to have items delivered before arriving. 


What are the accommodation office opening times?


Our office hours are 8:00-18:00.

How do I collect mail/parcels?


letters and small parcels are available in the individual post-boxes Larger parcels can be collect at reception during the parcel collection times.


How can we use a vacuum cleaner?


All ensuite flats have a vacuum in the cleaning cupboard within the flats. Studios can book a hoover via the portal account.


How can we play pool?


The Pool table is located in the pool room by reception.


How can we play Xbox/Switch?


PS4 Located in Common Room.


How can I get a replacement key?


between 9am-6pm Monday-Friday £20 Charge.


How do I report a maintenance issue?


Online via the portal account.
