Do I need planning permission for a garden building?

In most instances, garden outbuildings are permitted and do not need planning permission.

The three primary considerations are:

1 - The building is no higher than 2.5m  (Note- Our Garden Rooms are constructed to meet this condition).

2 - The garden room and any other outbuildings added to the original house do not take up more than 50% of your garden space.

3 - It’s not used as living or sleeping accommodation.
